This lovely guesthouse is situated right in the heart of Amiens, just a short stroll from the stunning cathedral, offering an atmosphere that is both peaceful and central, perfect for indulging in local culture. The highlight of our mornings was the delightful continental breakfast prepared with care by our gracious host, who was always ready with tips about nearby sites, including the fascinating Jules Verne Museum. The room itself was bright and beautifully appointed, adorned with classic French decor, and featured a cozy seating area where I could unwind after a day of exploring. While our experience had its ups and downs—largely due to an unexpected room mix-up—what stood out was the host's genuine hospitality, making us feel at home despite any hiccups. I wholeheartedly recommend Maison Ulysse to anyone seeking a stylish and conveniently located retreat in Amiens.
